Guild Rank Regulations


ARTICLE ONE : STANDARD RANKS

Initiate

Upon accepting an invitation to guild Walkers the Initiate assumes the following privileges and responsibilities:

1. The Initiate will uphold the rules and regulations of the Constitution.
2. The Initiate will act appropriately in representing the ideals that Walkers has set forth.
3. The Initiate is granted access to guild hall amenities as defined in the Walkers Constitution.
4. The Initiate is granted access to the Guild Bank of Walkers as defined by the progressive official document: Guild Bank Regulations.

Junior Member

An Initiate upon obtaining proper sponsorship, will be granted the rank of Junior Member. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of an Initiate, a Junior Member is granted the following privileges:

5. The Junior Member is granted further access to guild hall amenities as defined in the Walkers Constitution.
6. The Junior Member is granted further access to the Guild Bank of Walkers as defined by the progressive official document: Guild Bank Regulations.
7. The Junior Member is granted protection of the guild. Any punitive action to be taken against a Junior Member must be voted on by the Officer Corps, unless emergency action is deemed necessary by a Guild Leader.

Member

An Junior Member having been an active member of guild Walkers for ninety days and obtaining seventy five thousand guild status points, will be granted the rank of Member. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of a Junior Member, a Member is granted the following privileges:

8. The Member is granted further access to the Guild Bank of Walkers as defined by the progressive official document: Guild Bank Regulations.
9. The Member is granted the right to vote in Guild Leader elections.


ARTICLE TWO : SPECIAL RANKS

Senior Member

A Member having been active in the guild for at least one hundred eighty days and accumulated two hundred fifty thousand guild status points, and upon consideration by the Officer Corps may be proffered an invitation to become a Senior Member. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of a Member, a Senior Member is granted the following privileges assumes the following responsibilities:

1. The Senior Member is granted the right to be listed as a recruiter in the Guild Listing window.
2. The Senior Member assumes the responsibility of seeking out Initiates for evaluation and sponsorship.
3. The Senior Member will be responsible for monitoring members of guild Walkers in their adherence to the Constitution and demeanor in representing Walkers in public forums.

Raid Leader

A Senior Member upon consideration by the Guild Leaders may be proffered an invitation to become Raid Leader. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of a Senior Member, a Raid Leader is granted the following privileges:

4. The Raid Leader is granted the right to organize and lead official Walkers raids.


ARTICLE THREE : OFFICER RANKS

Guild Officer

A member of guild Walkers of rank Senior Member or higher, upon consideration by the Officer Corps, may be proffered an invitation to become Guild Officer. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of a Raid Leader, a Guild Officer is granted the following privileges and assumes the following responsibilities:

1. The Guild Officer is granted the ability to invite new members into the guild, but not to remove them.
2. The Guild Officer assumes the responsibility to attend posted guild officer meetings or provide his/her proxy to another member of rank Guild Officer or higher if unable to attend.
3. The Guild Officer is granted the right to be recognized in guild meetings and voice suggestions.
4. The Guild Officer is granted the right to vote on guild matters in an officer’s meeting.
5. The Guild Officer is granted the right to nominate members of rank Guild Officer or higher for Guild Leader.
6. The Guild Officer assumes the responsibility to mediate a dispute between members if a Guild Leader is not readily available. The mediating Guild Officer must uphold the Walkers Constitution and Regulations in this dispute. In this regard, the Guild Officer will take notes on the dispute and contact both Guild Leaders.

Senior Officer

A Guild Officer having been active in the guild for at least one year and upon consideration by the Guild Leaders, may be proffered an invitation to become Senior Officer. In addition to duties and responsibilities of being a Guild Officer, a Senior Officer is granted the following privileges and assumes the following responsibilities:

7. The Senior Officer is granted further access to the Guild Bank of Walkers as defined in the progressive official document: Guild Bank Regulations.
8. The Senior Officer assumes the responsibility for maintaining and regulating all transactions in the guild banks.
9. The Senior Officer assumes the responsibility for maintaining member Guild Points as defined in the progressive official document: Guild Point Regulations.
10. The Senior Officer assumes the responsibility for monitoring harvestable materials in the Guild Hall Supply Depot. In this regard, the Senior Officer will sell and or maintain a minimum amount of materials, as determined by the Guild Leaders, in the depot on a regular basis. All excess of materials will be sold on the broker by the Senior Officer and all funding will go automatically into the guild funds on a regular basis. A report shall be made by the Senior Officer to the Guild Leaders on a regular basis as to the transactions completed on guild’s behalf by the Senior Officer. If the Senior Officer will be absent for an extended period of time, he/she will contact the Guild Leaders with all pertinent information.
11. The Senior Officer assumes the responsibility of keeping rare harvestable materials supplied. These materials will not be stored in the Guild Hall Supply Depot, but in the Guild Bank. Should a particular rare harvestable material get low or run out, the Senior Officer will, with prudence, restock these materials either through donations or purchase with Guild funds (received via purchase order request from the Guild Leaders. All funds must be approved for spending/guild use by the current Guild Leaders).
12. The Senior Officer assumes the responsibility for contacting the proper crafting characters for creation of requested armor (in regard to the “promotional” master crafted level 72 rare sets), potions, totems, or other items for general guild use when stock levels in the guild banks become low.

Guild Leader

A Guild Officer having been active in the guild for at least one year, having been nominated by a member of the Officer Corps, and having won a seat in the Guild Leader elections, shall be given the rank of Guild Leader. In addition to the privileges and responsibilities of a Senior Officer, a Guild Leader is granted the following privileges and assumes the following responsibilities:

13. The Guild Leader is granted further access to the Guild Bank of Walkers as defined in the progressive official document: Guild Bank Regulations.
14. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility for settling internal disputes in an organized and fair fashion.
15. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility for maintaining and regulating all promotions and demotions of individual characters in guild Walkers.
16. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility for distributing items and coin to members who have earned the use of either. This includes the maintenance and distribution of coin for the purpose of Guild Hall upkeep.
17. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility for distributing Guild Points according to the progressive official document: Guild Point Regulations.
18. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility for ratifying any motions given during an officer's meeting. No motions can be accepted or ratified until a Guild Leader has approved and accepted it.
19. The Guild Leader assumes the responsibility to take emergency action for the good of the guild if a threat to the guild is perceived, after which the Officer Corps will be notified of said action at the next most expedient opportunity.
20. The Guild Leader is granted the right to take action at his/her discretion to the benefit of the guild in matters not defined by the Constitution or any official regulation documents.
