CALLING ALL CRAFTERS!

Have you ever heard the old saying, “the proof is in the pudding”? It means that the true value or quality of something can only be judged when it’s put to use.

If you enjoy crafting, as I know many of you do, you will eventually find yourself reaching level 80 in your crafting specialty. Once you become a level 80 crafter, like Fletchress did last night with his Sage (gratz Fletch!) , you’ll want to pursue your Master Cloak. The picture in this link, http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Cloak_of_the_Master_Sage shows the unique look given to all Master Sages upon successfully completing the quests that I will talk about in a minute. Each different tradeskill class will have a unique cloak specific to their class (see more on http://eq2.wikia.com)

“The Proof of the Pudding” quest is for available for all level 80 crafters to pursue but first, you must begin the “Artisan Epic Timeline” for your level 80 crafter.

The prerequisites for this are: (1) you must be a level 80 crafter and, (2) you must have least –20k or higher faction with the Bathezid’s Watch, located in the Fens of Nathsar. You do not have to be a level 80 adventure to do this quest either! This quest will award you the class-specific recipe that you will need for “The Proof of the Pudding” quest. For more information on the “Artisan Epic Timeline”, go to this website,

http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Artisan_Epic_Timeline

Once you have received your class-specific recipe, you are now ready to move on to “The Proof of the Pudding" quest, which can be found at this website,

http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/The_Proof_of_the_Pudding

Upon completion of this quest, you will receive many goodies, one being the awesome “Earring of the Solstice”, which is needed to see red shines, a collection that will give you a nice house item once completed. Just look at these stats !

Without a doubt, this is a "must-do" quest for all level 80 crafters - enjoy !

In regard to the red shinies, there are several quests and zones with them. The total number of "tradeskill" collections 11 now. If I remember, the zones are as follows:

Fens of Nathsar - map fragments
Enchanted lands - wood planks
Barren sky - piano keys
Steamfont Mountains - fireflies
Zek (no trade) - Deathfist forge scraps
Lavastorm (no trade) - sootfoot forge pieces
Greater Faydark - delicate flowers
Greater Faydark - Glade leaves
Loping Plains - bar glasses
Maj'Dul - Peacock Club items
The Down Below/The Thieves Way - slime samples

Even if you have them, always pick them up - they are good for Guild Points and/or just for selling - many are worth some good coin. All are lore, so you can only have one at a time, but they are worth getting.

Thanks Cay and Rash, this is great information partucularly considering all the crafters we have. Btw we are the number 5 crafting guild in Blackburrow. I am looking forward to seeing what they have added for us crafters in the upcoming Sentinel's Fate expansion.

THANK YOU FOR HEAD UP ON LOCATION..
I knew most of them..but you pointed out a few i did not know of
going to have to check them out

Along with this thought ..all the red shinie collection are lv 80
So if you do not have them and your toon not a lv 80 adventure
you can get some nice aa and adventure points.

Being lv 80 legon collectable.. you can not send them in mail to
your other toon
sadHINT..HINT..Consider using guild bank 1 to transfer rare lord collectable between one toon to another you may have
